First phase of PFF’s provincial elections takes place today

The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) Normalization Committee is making steady progress towards its objective of establishing an elected body, with the completion of the first phase of provincial elections today.
On the first day, 22 district presidents took part from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. In Sindh, representatives from 21 districts exercised their right to vote, while four district presidents from Azad Jammu and Kashmir participated in the election process. The candidates from Islamabad were also present during this important phase.
The elections for Punjab, Balochistan, and Gilgit-Baltistan are set to take place tomorrow (Friday – September 20, 2024), marking another significant step in the process.
The Election Commission will announce the results of the provincial elections in two days, and the candidates will have five days following the announcement to raise any objections.
