Pakistan beat Nepal in SAFF U17 Championship 2024 at Bhutan

Pakistan beat Nepal by 1-0 goal in the SAFF U17 Championship 2024
at Changlimithang Stadium in Thimphu, Bhutan, in the first league match.

Both teams were fought well and were engaged 0-0 draw.

In the second half, Muhammad Talha scored in the 81st minute to give the team victory.

Pakistan will play 2nd match with host Bhutan on September 23, while 3rd match with Sri Lanka on September 25 at the same venue.

Seven countries are participating in the championship and have divided into two groups.
Pakistan are placed in Group B with Bhutan, Nepal and Sri Lanka while India, Maldives and Bangladesh are in Group A.

The championship will continue till September 30.

Sajjad Mehmood are serving as the Head Coach with Hassan Baloch assisting him as the assistant coach and Nouman Ibrahim taking on the role of goalkeeping coach.

Pakistani team including;
Defenders:
Abdul Rehman, M. Husnain Saleem, Najeem Khan, Sameer Ahmed, Ubaid Ullah Khan, Majid Ali, Syed Muhammad Aabis Raza and Umar Javed.

Midfielders:
Abdul Samad, Muhammad Faraz, Farhad, Haroon Rashed, Hikmat Ullah, Khobaib Khan, M. Shahab Ahmed and Muhammad Khan.

Forwards:
Abdul Ghani, Subhan Karim, Shahraf Khan and Muhammad Talha Khan.

Goal Keepers:
Aadil Ali Khan, Ghulam Abbas and Kashif.
